The Courage to Seek the Truth
Mastering spiritual practices to dispel illusions and reveal the truth.
Spirituality is experiential and internal. Spiritual people do not follow a system of beliefs created by others. Once awakened, a spiritual person follows their own path of Truth, Joy, and Oneness based on their experiences and their inner wisdom. We find these gifts through self-exploration and not the beliefs of others. The wisdom that brings healing into wholeness and happiness into sustainable Joy when sought within; institutions and their leaders cannot reflect the wisdom held in the individual soul.
The next level of conscious evolution is taking charge of your mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. By being true to yourself and your own knowing, you may discover secrets of the universe and have confidence in your wisdom. Starting with the seed of self-trust, the seed can grow into an abundant library of wisdom guiding your entire life.
For this, we need Radical Self-Trust; which is the power to know and follow what is true for us despite what illusion seeks to sell us. Holding strong in what you know to be true takes fortitude, courage and the deep inner knowing developed over time with patience and practice.
Trusting oneself poses daily challenges in a world filled with illusions.
Just as we cannot see the path forward when covered in dense fog, society's illusions shroud the truth we seek. External chaos can distract us from the truth, but our own egoic illusions are an even greater challenge. External influences are problematic if we have not dealt with our own prejudices, beliefs, and perceptions that bar us from seeing the truth. Tools of self-awareness, such as meditations, intuition, and Divine connection, guide the spiritual person to the great wisdom they can trust once the practices become a skill set.
Radical self-trust is the next expression of developing human consciousness. Taking our awareness to the next level leaves behind those who proclaim authority over the truth. Teachers, gurus, and books become secondary to our path. Although they can help inspire us forward, reliance on an outside doctrine or teacher is no longer needed. Expectations and demands for our behaviors and beliefs are no longer dictated by institutions. Our beliefs become based on our current life experiences. This builds upon itself over time and the way forward forges a unique path all our own.
The ego rules the world of men, but the wisdom of your soul empowers your life.
Once you know how to trust the tools of intuition and your divine connection, you will never lack insight, inspiration, and guidance.
The ego holds your desires, memories, and life experiences, as well as your beliefs and your wounds. It creates the world you live in and, most likely, the career you choose and the relationships you have. But it does not hold wisdom, it cannot express unconditional love, it cannot heal itself and it abhors self-awareness. It is incapable of trusting others, or even yourself. For the ego, the external world defines all things it needs to know. The coveted status, attention, wealth, and love sought after by the demands of the ego come from the external world. But this is an illusion. The illusion that we chase all our lives. All we need resides quietly within. What we see as valuable, loving, abundant, and joyful is within our hearts and souls, not in our ego-constructed world.
Spirituality is the shift from external world validation to the power of self-trust. Growing in the trust of self, even when in the fog of illusion, is the mastery that will forge a fresh path to a life of wholeness.
Nowadays, it's common to learn trusted leaders, admired celebrities, and inspiring teachers are untrustworthy. This is the time of no more gurus, no more saviors, no more handing over your power to another. It is time to discover that you always knew more than any of them could ever know. Your wisdom is the guiding light of your life. Tapping into that wisdom, trusting it, and building upon it, requires effort and practice. Some of it is trial and error, some of it is intention and integrity, and some of it is courage and fortitude.
You are ready to meet your next teacher. You.
Once the tools to build trust in the self are mastered, your life becomes empowered, and you discover that there is no greater authority in life than you.
Self-trust is mastery. All the ancient masters, sages, and philosophers developed their authority and wisdom. The primary tools used for self-trust are those that correctly bring what is unconscious into your conscious awareness. Journey work, energy awareness, and meditations can help us understand our hidden wisdom. Thus, seeing through the illusion and illuminating the path before us.
I teach these tools so that our hearts can be our guides, our wisdom can be revealed, and our lives become an adventure of joy.
We are forging a new way of thinking while creating a support system as unique as we are. As we let go of the guru-savior concept in human consciousness to evolve as empowered by self-trust, we grow exponentially with a group of support. We are now each our own teachers, yet we do not have to do it all alone.
Each month will hold weekly meetings and demonstrations on using the tools to build self-trust. See this link for more details on topics for the next few months. December - intuition. January - Energy Sensitivity. February - Journey work, and so on. The topics are fluid and directed by the group’s desires.
We gather weekly on Wednesdays starting December 6 at 6 pm Pacific Time, for approximately 75 minutes per meeting on Google Meet with phone or link. The sign-up fee is $98 per month paid by the first day of each month. This is an ongoing discussion seminar but has no long-term commitment.
To join us on December 6th, contact Janet or send $98 by December 1st through PayPal or Vemno @janetkadow
I am also offering private sessions to share practices of self-trust that are unique to your needs and path. Contact me for more information or other ways to receive support. janet@janetkadow.com 619.866.4405
