Peering into the unknown is as exciting as it gets. Seeing what is unseen and exploring the phenomenon of the future is akin to embarking on a journey into the depths of the universe. Exploring the mystery of what is coming requires some preparation. Anything is possible there. There is nothing more thrilling or courageous than getting to know what is yet to be.
Using divination requires caution and courage because the future is a place you should not explore on your own. You can misunderstand what you are seeing. Projecting your own expectations and desires into your visions can get you lost in the mystery, returning more confused than before you went.
Spirit Guides bring clarity and extraordinary gifts to the process of divination. Tarot reveals the future through the symbolic language of the soul. Adding to that, the wisdom of Spirit allows for the insight to change it, navigate it, or learn how to make it even better. Combining Tarot cards and Spirit Guides for readings brings them to life, empowering you to change, grow, and heal beyond your limitations.
Tarot for Predictions
Learning Tarot is a lifelong process. The complexity of symbolism includes esoteric images, coded colors, and ancient glyphs and symbols. Tarot engages the mind to divine the future, but it can be used differently. When you tap into your intuition or psychic sense, Tarot symbols express the language of the soul through the heart, not the mind.
When your energy centers in the heart, you connect to your soul’s language of intuition and have access to your higher consciousness and Spirit Guides.
Spirit for Guidance
Spirit offers us connection as a birthright. You are connected to the realm where you were before you were born. In your spirit state, before we became who we are now, connection to all the beings who guide us now is natural. Becoming part of the world did not sever that connection, only muted it so that you could experience life to its fullest.
You remain connected for a reason. By requesting their wisdom, it will come. Needing their guidance, it is there. When you seek that which is beyond your physical limitations, their help will make itself known. Whether through dreams, signs, insight, or inspiration, the divine beings you know from another world bring you all you need to continue your tasks. If you ask.
How to Use Both in One Reading
It may take time, practice, and patience if you are just starting out learning Tarot and building your connection to your Guides, but it is well worth it. I will not go into the details of centering, clearing, and connecting here, instead, I will go forward as though you know the basics.
It is the point of this article to help use these tools and not teach how to use these tools. I am happy to share more with you about the techniques of both. See my class here: https://wp.me/paChA-1gU Or message me for private instruction.
To apply Tarot and Spirit together, start with Tarot. Settle yourself and focus on the question: “What will happen today?” Mix the cards up in whatever way you feel comfortable. When ready, pull one card. Take a moment to feel into the card and try not to think about it. Feel into what the card is telling you. When you do this, you get into heart energy and won’t get confused by mental energy. Let the answer come to you. Do not search for the answer. It will come.
Once you feel you have a sense of what the card is showing you about your day, then ask Spirit what they have to say about it. Spirit can answer in the same way it got the Tarot message. It may come as a feeling, a word, a thought, or a vision. It is important that you ask your Guide and only your Guide so that random spirits don’t interfere with your answer.
Ask this way: “I ask my Spirit Guide to tell me what is in my highest good to know today.” Sit quietly and watch and wait. Just let it come. Spirit is subtle and you need to pay attention as though you are watching every detail in a movie to find the answer they are sharing.
Once you get the message from both sources, write the messages down. This is an especially crucial step to honor what comes by making a note of it. When you are in a state of connection, you can easily forget what you got. Writing it down as you get it or soon after helps you to remember. It is important to honor what you get, even if it is very subtle, or you think it is wrong. This shows that you are serious and creates a record of your growth.
The Most Important Part
It is important to approach readings as a blank slate. If you feel attached to an outcome, you will not get clear information. This is why many psychics say they can’t read for themselves. Their desires overshadow their connection to intuition and to Spirit, muddling or even blocking the messages that come.
If you expect to get a package or hear from a lover and you keep getting it, it is coming, but it does not come, what you expect is clouding the connection. Approach each reading with curiosity and not expectation. To learn anything, you must agree you know nothing. Welcome whatever comes. Review the veracity of it later.
Releasing all expectations of what you think, to allow for the truth of what will happen, may take some practice. If you don’t get an answer or if you think your wishes are overriding the answer, set aside the reading for another day.
Once you're comfortable with this practice, you can do longer readings or readings on jobs, relationships, and health. Until then, practice is the key.
May all your readings bring you the support you need.
